CORE BELIEFS

At LifePoint Church, we embrace the essential teachings of the Bible as the foundation of our faith. Our teaching and ministry are grounded in these Biblical doctrines and flow out of them.

GOD

Secondary Title

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As the creator of all things, both seen and unseen, God deserves all glory and praise.

God is characterized by perfect love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging and remains constant yesterday, today, and forever.

Revelation

Secondary Title

God has revealed himself to us in several ways: through his son Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, through the Holy Scriptures, and even through the wonders of creation.

Mankind

Secondary Title

Both men and women were created in God's image for his glory. Adam and Eve, the first humans, were created without sin and were entrusted with the responsibility of caring for the rest of God's creation.

The Fall

Secondary Title

When Adam and Eve made the decision to disobey God, they deviated from God's intended design for them and became distorted images of God. As a result, they were separated from God and this fracture in their relationship with him affected all of creation ever since.

Salvation

Secondary Title

Jesus Christ came to restore our relationship with God. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily died on the cross to pay the price for our wrongdoings. God raised him from the dead and through his grace, we, as followers of Christ, are given the gift of eternal life with him as our Lord and Savior.

The Church

Secondary Title

The Church is more than just a building or an organization, it is a community of believers who are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. We are to reflect Christ's love, grace, and truth to those around us and share the good news of salvation through Him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Church is empowered to carry out its mission and make a difference in the world.

Ressurection

Secondary Title

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's Kingdom on Earth.
